Having posted about the Declaration of the Báb recently and followed that up with some poems relating to faith and martyrdom, perhaps I need to also post a poem that might capture something of what the hope is that inspires the sacrifice. Fortunately in the West our sacrifices are light by comparison with those our dearly loved friends in Iran are making everyday.
